How close does this look? Arm-chair quarterback level analysis led to this.

QB - Martinez, McCaffrey, Smothers
RB - Mills, Scott, Johnson, Morrison, Thompkins, Bivens
WR - Manning, Hickman, Betts
WR - Warner, Nance, Fleming, Houston
WR - Robinson, Brown, Nixon
LT - Jaimes, Banks, Gaylord
LG - Piper, Bando, Hixson
C - Jurgens, Farniok
RG - Wilson, Sichterman, Miller
RT - Farniok, Benhart, Fritsche,
TE - Stoll, Vokelek, Allen
 




I thought about penciling in Farniok at guard, but I predicted he will win the RT job, in part because of the emergence of Piper inside. No insider info, I just think they will end up feeling a little more confident keeping Farniok outside.
 




Later in the year, the O line could see alot of change.
Dont count out Corcoran, watch to see if Gaylords recovered.
Theres a couple others that could emerge as well.

That makes nine, potentially ten rotating starters.
Not saying they'll rotate a bunch, but more than last year imo.

No Farniok is not a good tackle. benhart will start

Building depth ........ brick by brick .... the ones that have me pumped are young pups. The competition will be INTENSE coming up. Which is good for everybody.

If Gaylord is going to go through the trouble to come back for a 6th year, and if the staff is keeping him on scholarship, then I suspect he will at least be on the second team. Moving M. Farniok to Guard, as others have mentioned, could facilitate that change. Corcoran may also fit into the OL mix as a True Freshman... perhaps as a "second team" guy who is intentionally limited to 4 games.

The WR corp would actually look pretty damn good if Spielman came back. Doesn't seem as though that is likely though.
