Juvenile innuendo aside, Winged Beavers is an awesome name for a high school / prep school team.

. Being a coach here in CT...the competition isn't all that great. The schools in the league charge higher tuitions than 95% of the Universities in the country. But I will say..Avon Old Fams may be one of the greatest hockey prep schools in the country. With that said...the kid can play and I'd be happy to have him.

I think that talented players can come out of small programs has been confirmed by the Husker stars of the past who came out of Nebraska 6-man and 8-man programs, though I can't remember their names right now.

Good info. I'm not enamored with him on the defensive side of the ball, however, I love defenders that play on the offensive side of the ball too (see Deontre Thomas or Amir Watts). So hoping it works out, he will be here if we let him commit.

A lot of the in-state kids that end up contributing for NU have played against marginal talent in HS. I'm all for it.
