Juvenile innuendo aside, Winged Beavers is an awesome name for a high school / prep school team.
I've always been a fan of winged beavers.

. Being a coach here in CT...the competition isn't all that great. The schools in the league charge higher tuitions than 95% of the Universities in the country. But I will say..Avon Old Fams may be one of the greatest hockey prep schools in the country. With that said...the kid can play and I'd be happy to have him.The question for this guy is how bad is the competition he is going against? Terrible or average?
I think a good player will be good no matter the competition he has played against. That is why Nebraska high school players get devalued and someone from say Texas, California etc. has played better competition yes but doesn't make them a better player
How about anyone named Mackovica.I think that talented players can come out of small programs has been confirmed by the Husker stars of the past who came out of Nebraska 6-man and 8-man programs, though I can't remember their names right now.

Good info. I'm not enamored with him on the defensive side of the ball, however, I love defenders that play on the offensive side of the ball too (see Deontre Thomas or Amir Watts). So hoping it works out, he will be here if we let him commit.. Being a coach here in CT...the competition isn't all that great. This brings up a good topic/debate. Do you take a player who has done well against tough competition over a player who has great measureables, but has plated against inferior competition?
