My buddy that has a Rivals subscription sent me this:

A 6'9 230 pound center that averaged 12 points and 8 rebounds per game that is looking to transfer is actually pretty rare. I don't think people realize that a Russel Wilson situation in football, or the guy who transferred to Kansas this year in basketball is actually kind of rare. Especially for a one year guy. Most of the time it's just someone that didn't play and probably won't at his new school if he goes to a lesser institution. Reading some of the Temple boards about Lee, it seems he is a great kid but very mixed reviews about his play. He doesn't seem to be a post up option and he has horrible hands. Leslee Smith's hands are not great as it is. It would be good to get another big guy but I would hope it would be someone who can post up as we are lacking there.
 
Can we get a point guard to transfer in here? That seems to be our most pressing need...one that can control the flow of the game and break pressure...get us into the right offenses and defenses. I love Benny, but he's not that kind of player.

with a couple 'slashers' like pettaway and shields i'd be less concerned about a true 'back to the basket' 5...as long as he is able to defend the post. with his size it seems he could handle that.
 
We will get someone, just don't know who. Someone who almost averaged a double-double in that conference is a good option in my opinion. Miles knows what he needs I suppose.

The only thing I'm certain of is if Embid from Kansas wants out of Lawrence we will most likely go after him...
 




Looks like Temple transfer Anthony Lee has trimmed his list to Ohio State, Louisville, Iowa State, Notre Dame, and Indiana...

There will start to be a ton of guys becoming known in the next few weeks. Indiana's Etherington is transferring but I don't believe we would be interested in him.
 



If our only hope is transfers, and if we have to rely on that, then we don't have much of a program.

Disagree. This is how Miles has built his success at programs, and how Hoiberg has done it at Iowa State. This is essential in the first few years in my opinion until we establish ourselves...
