I plead the 5th amendment on the years of graduation on grounds that it might be held agin' me.
So, AZ, we started out together on the north side of the North Platte river, but then you went to Kearney while I went to Chadron, and then
you went to the ASU Scum Devils while I went to THE Arizona University. Such a promising beginning all for naught.
That is funny right there.

We went on a fishing trip the spring after the Huskers pounded U of A in the Holiday Bowl a couple years ago. There was a camp with "U of A" shade canopies set up. When they saw our Husker window stickers, they immediately came out, shook our hands, and talked constantly about who the "real football team" was that day. It was a good start to a great outing.
Probably just as well. My salmon fishing experiences in the North-"Wet" ended in my chumming the sea with the previous night's dinner.

I'm another Millard product, and like ThotDoc, I can root for all three schools. I went through the Millard School District's 2-2-2 experiment - two years at Millard Central Junior HS, two years at Millard HS Level I (in the building that is now Millard North), and two years at Millard HS Level II (in the building that is now Millard South). The experiment didn't last long, though. We were split for our senior year, and I am a member of the first graduating class of Millard South HS. We didn't form a rivalry with Millard North yet. In fact, this year we will be celebrating a big reunion with Millard South and Millard North together.
Millard/Millard South High School - Millard/Omaha, NE - Indians - Red and White
US Air Force (not the Academy, just active duty), stationed at Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, NM
University of Nebraska - Lincoln, NE - Cornhuskers - Scarlet and Cream
University of Wisconsin Law School - Madison, WI - Badgers - Red and White (When I went there, I called them mini-Nebraska. Alvarez was the coach, they looked like the Huskers with their colors, and Alvarez had them running a similar offense and defense. Now look at them. It's bittersweet for me. I want the Badgers to do well, but not at our expense).
I always turn to the sports pages first, which records people's accomplishments. The front page has nothing but man's failures.
I expect to die at 110, shot by a jealous husband.
