Possible spring changes to NCAA Women's Volleyball

Nebraska is not in favor of a change that would mean that teams could not compete against other college programs during the spring season.Last year, Nebraska played Wichita State in Grand Island and played Iowa State and Tiangin Bridgestone, a team from China, at the NU Coliseum. Eliminating spring matches could be seen as a cost saving move for some programs. At Nebraska, though, more than 11,000 fans combined attended the three matches, allowing the program to generate income to support itself.
    and some good news.............

Six players were named Academic All-Big Ten on Wednesday. To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, student-athletes must be letterwinners who are in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.Chosen for Nebraska were Gina Mancuso, Morgan Broekhuis, Lauren Cook, Wilberger, Root and Thramer.

    Ahhh...the NCAA strikes again.
I really hate Penn State! (And I'm not that wild about Iowa either.)
