Don't know if this has been mentioned, but I just saw yet another rule unique to the XFL.
You can throw two forward passes on the same play as long as the ball does not cross the scrimmage line before the second pass is thrown. Houston scored on the play with the receiver all by himself downfield.
They didn't talk about trying to throw more than two forward passes on the same player. I think you are limited to two.
