Wrigley Volleyball

How about play it in Kansas City next year at the T-Mobile center? Allow both teams an equal allotment of tickets even though Nebraska would sell it out on it’s own.

Closer drive for Missouri fans but not an issue at all for Husker Nation.

Seems fair for both parties involved.

This reminds me a lot of the 2018 football game against Akron that was cancelled due to lightning. We got to see exactly one play before the delays started. We hung around for about two or three hours before the game was called off. I flew in from California to see the start of the Frost Era and ended up seeing just the opening kickoff. I guess it was a premonition about how the Frost Era would go... :)

Sorry about that

Looks like Dani is done with outdoor volleyball. Fast forward to 5:30.

Yeah, she makes some very good points regarding plenty of other (indoor) venues available.

While Wrigley is a historic place… this situation kinda goes back to the ole adage that, “just because you can, doesn’t mean you should”.

This will be a pretty big setback for outdoor volleyball. Everyone saw Nebraska pull it off in front of 92,000 and really didn't think about what the odds were of that coming off without a hitch. Last night was the reality of outdoor volleyball.

That being said Nebraska got millions of dollars worth of publicity last night. And with the amount of red in the stands last night, anyone planning some kind of big volleyball event knows if you want the seats filled you have to invite Nebraska.

What was impressive, the husker team joined Missouri players and made a party out of it.

Yeah Andi Jackson gets tons to credit there when she grabbed the mic and headed over to the Missouri players and waved the Nebraska players over too. With the Nebraska players talking to the crowd I was wondering if the Missouri players were starting to feel a little left out, but Andi took care of that.

Well said…class act by Andi. Two teams attempted to play the match and both should be recognized regardless which conference was in charge of the tournament this year.
