After the frustration of record-setting futulity in the regular season, there sure has been a lot of good news this offseason. It seems like the rest of the world isn't nearly as down on Nebraska's future as our own conversations make it sound. At any rate, quality coaches and players are still listening and jumping on the wagon.
Nebraska was close to beating Top 10 competition multiple times. They never were blown out, even against the best teams on the schedule. If this offense can take a step forward and execute in the Red Zone better, if the Special Teams comparison isn't an automatic liability, its conceivable that the Huskers could be poised for the biggest turn-around in the nation.
