Many experts feel that Blanks has a bright future in college on the defensive side of the ball, and can be game-changer from day 1. We not only talked about his recruitment but also what Travis is like off the field. You can easily see that Travis is wise beyond his years and has a great head on his shoulder. Here’s what he had to say:

Travis: I’m a gentle, intelligent, Christian guy. I care about my environment and the people in it. If there was one award I could win over ANY athletic award it would be the humanitarian award. I want to be remembered for not only being the toughest, hardest playing player on the field but the guy who made a difference off the field as well.
