For sure that will be a headwind for every program, and we will lose some players we want to keep. But I think Rhule will be better than most at using culture to make players want to stay or join. That will be important in the new environment.
For example, this 3 team thing they're doing. That lots of benefits. You get lots if developmental reps so you feel like you are making progress. You get the exhilirating feeling of team competition even if you're young or just a backup. It makes it possible for people other than only the ones to star, if only in practice. It energizes. It builds camaraderie.
Some winners are strong enough that even when you change the rules of the game - like college football is doing now, - they'll win anyway. I'm hoping Rhule is going to be like that. I'll tell you for sure in a couple of years.
