So Ohio State is making a play for Trae Taylor. I like how the kid is responding and I think his dad is keeping him grounded, not to mention moving to Omaha so he can play at one of the Millard schools. But...let's not forget...he is a high school kid. They change their minds more often than they change underwear.
And so they should be, especially the many who know less than many in the fan baseIts click bait
Nothing more
He is not going to Ohio State or anywhere else but Nebraska
Look most of these kids keep their word once they commit
Back to the point of the OP. the media are not helping recruiting etc. With carp like they have had on the radio this week
Most of nothing more than drivel
They have been called out on it by other media members and many in the fan basev
Yeah but in my opinion “Words” from the media are MEANINGLESS. There is nothing to gain from reading or listening to the media. I trust my eye
Awesome, now if you can get about a billion other people in the world to follow your lead, we'll all be better off.Yeah but in my opinion “Words” from the media are MEANINGLESS. There is nothing to gain from reading or listening to the media. I trust my eyes
They apologized? Hadn't heard that. Seems that crew in Omaha would only double down when challenged by peers and the Husker fan base.We can agree to disagree the media as a whole does a pretty good job. In this case a couple of wanna be shock jocks decided to go after our QB. Commit to their own peril as other media members and some in the fan base called them out
They were forced to apologize but the damage was done
Back to the OP: This is coming from the father of our QB commit
That's that bottom line
They are connected to potential commits
Not to mention they are playing off the comments of a certain segment of the fan base and it's blown up in their face
I have been saying for years in this forum that words matter and recruits read this stuff

It's probably fairly obvious by my comments that I am not a fan of their schtick - I found them unlistenable years ago, and what they did earlier this week was not surprising to me, but I understand they have a following. So if they did apologize, cool I guess, just not sure I'm buying it nor do I desire to give them a listen.
We'll see how this all shakes out, but it also seems evident the Taylor family is quite in tune with local Nebraska media in many forms ... I love the fact they appear solid to Nebraska, and am hopeful things like this - which likely will not subside - do not sway Trae from signing.
I think Trae is a fine young man who presents himself well, and having him as the primary face of the program will, in my opinion, help this program move forward simply from the standpoint of his demeanor and personality.
Not to mention his extreme talent and intense competitor mindset.
I am with you brother. I guess some in here misinterpreted my comments. Their schtick has no value to ME and hasn’t for many many years. I agree with you about Trae. Character abounds in this young man. I trust him and his decisions. They apologized? Hadn't heard that. Seems that crew in Omaha would only double down when challenged by peers and the Husker fan base.

I lead a group of one. That’s my quotaAwesome, now if you can get about a billion other people in the world to follow your lead, we'll all be better off.
