You’re 100% right. I’ve noticed the same, and after every loss, it’s more stoic than usual, kinda short, don’t wanna talk to you bleepers. With his salary, he has to know he has to win. This is on him to figure it out. A Wisconsin win would do wonders. Another loss? Probably will start looking ugly around here. Might regardless.

That's the thing that makes football a sport that requires tremendous resilience. It's a grind, it's a daily drag on the mind and body, it's so focused on a single event, and those events are usually at least 7 days apart, so you have a week to dwell on anything that was negative. And then, god forbid, you have a second week, that process multiplies...and then a third. Basketball or Baseball, it's different, because the games come with more frequency, so that time between games to dwell is less, and the practices are far less of a grind.

I understand why his demeanor has changed. If I were in that profession, you'd find him charming by comparison.

I wouldn't know myself, but just because he makes millions of dollars a year doesn't mean he doesn't have feelings. I just hope he puts the overall program above feelings in order to be successful

Personally, I would have great concern if a guy came skipping into the presser with gushing accolades. And you are right, he is competitive, so this is him losing, not just some anonymous entity. There isn't his feelings, and then the program, it's all the same thing.
 
The last time the seniors won their final game at Lincoln was in 2018.

I have a feeling this year will be different and this group of seniors will rise to the occasion and get the trajectory going in the winning direction.

Yeah . . . you wonder how much Rhule regrets not going after an offensive hot-shot of some kind vs his friend. Can't change that now, but at least he took action and replaced his Coz. Hopefully that works out.

Also hope Holgorson has the offense coming out swinging tomorrow. Time to reach out and grab one and leave every single ounce on the field.

He did go after Peetz and that fell through, Satterfield I don’t think was his first choice
 
It's whatever, but on their TD it looked like he had it for a sec, got a foot in, bobbled it, next step was OB, and then lost it when hit the ground. Idk

But what's with giving them a first down for the hell of it when it looked minimum half yard short.

Looking like a defensive score might be necessary now, but that first drive was legit. GBR
