Try living in this state as a red blooded Husker fan. Especially after they’ve owned NU for 10 straight wins including the Melvin Gordon CCG. They think they’re CFB royalty.

Alvarez followed the Nebraska formula to establish Wisconsin as a successful program. Wisconsin is still following the Nebraska formula by making terrible leadership decisions since their glory days.

Notre Dame, Western Illinois and Eastern Michigan in non conference. Should easily be 2-1.

At Penn State, UCLA, Iowa, Maryland and Purdue. Should at least be 2-3 maybe 3-2.

Mich St, USC, Rutgers and Minnesota. 2-2 maybe 3-1.

Record of 6-6 maybe 8-4. Not bad after last season.

They don’t play Oregon, Michigan, tOSU, and Indiana arguably the top 4 favorites. As well as NU and Washington.

Their bye week is before the road trip to UCLA. They had a solid portal class including a decent QB. They should at a minimum win 6 but who knows.

I suspect SE will seriously evaluate Fickell and make a change unless he wins 8 or 9 games.
