Wisconsin Practice (10/4/18)

I wonder how Bootle would do in the return game? But the same usage concern may come up there too. Especially this weekend!
Wisconsin is not going to light it up through the air. We will see Taylor and the run game unless we get a big lead

Don't let the title of the article in the tweet be too confusing...
"I think it's kind of changed kids' perception of things," Frost said Thursday of the new rule. "I know if you're going to be a graduate transfer and you have one year to play, that maybe not playing that year and using that as a redshirt and moving on where you're going to be immediately eligible – I can understand that."

But as the NCAA words its transfer rules currently, only those who have graduated are eligible to play without sitting out a full season. That's why Clemson QB Kelly Bryant's situation, probably the most noteworthy transfer during this 2018 season, is different. Bryant can play in 2019 because he'd be a grad transfer.

Granted, no one is quite sure how the NCAA is going to respond, if at all, to this new in-season transfer situation. Most didn't project this happening when the four-game redshirt rule was put in place. Perhaps waivers or new legislation are on the way to open the door to someone like Lindsey playing in 2019 somewhere else at the FBS level, but it's not in writing yet.

"In some ways, you have to take care of yourself in this life. But anytime you're part of something that's bigger than yourself, it's even more special. Leaving in the middle of the year, unless I'm cloudy on the rules, they got to sit out next year and sit out anyway unless the rule changes. So I don't really see the advantage in it. I can understand if you're a senior and it's your last year to play and you still have a redshirt to not burn a year on the bench. So I get that. We got to see how all this stuff plays out."
