I only see 2 sure wins on the schedule, Buffalo (thank goodness Jaret Patterson is going pro) and Southeastern Louisiana. Lots of toss-up games, so I'm hopeful that SF gets us on track. I'm voting "50%-59% confident'

That’s the thing, most of us keep thinking, this is the year. I’m guessing most of us have thought that. I’m in the show me mode now. Never again will I assume this is the year the Huskers break out.My optimism at this time of the year has burned me too many times.
25% isn’t enough. It will help, but they need more than that. They need to be up with the leaders in the country in least penalties, and positive turnover margin. Constantly beating yourself magnifies all other issues. It’s doable, every year, if a team is disciplined well. Do that, you could see 9, 10 or more wins. You have to get out of your own way to have any chance.Cut penalties and turnovers by 25%, something in their control, and think 7 is doable.
