Mine used to watch the games with me even though she is a CU grad.
She put up with the 7-7 Solich year, Callahan's 5-6 turd in '04, Pelini being regularly boat raced in games that matter, but Riley was it for her. She stopped watching with me year one and stopped being home halfway through his last year. She had hope when Frost was hired, but the meltdown I had during the Akron weather delay put any hopes of 'Family' Husker watching on hold.
I'm hopeful we'll have a shot again this year. Hopeful.

Met mine in '84 so she got to see me suffer through a lot of 1 and 2 loss seasons. Still a handful for her, I'm sure.
'98 was tough. Prior to that '76 was my low water mark.
