I some how missed the fact that they played today, but I'm quite happy with the final score I see..... It was almost as if the Huskers didn't want that 30th win..... Now......... ;)

You missed a good one, not counting the 8th inning!! You needed the rest, anyway! :)

Lincoln – Behind 12 hits, including home runs from Ben Miller and Scott Schreiber in the third inning, the Nebraska baseball team (30-13, 6-6 Big Ten) picked up its 30th win of the season on Tuesday night with a 10-4 victory over the Kansas State Wildcats (18-21, 5-10 Big 12). The Huskers are now 20-4 at Hawks Field this season, including a 14-1 record during non-conference play.
The Huskers out hit the Wildcats 12-8 on the night and improved to 17-0 on the season when notching double-digit hits. The bottom of NU’s lineup did damage all night, as the 6-7-8-9 hitters totaled five hits and seven RBIs. The four Huskers combined for two doubles, one triple and one home run.
Freshman Garett King improved to 4-0 in the win and the Huskers are now 7-0 in games where King starts. The right hander tossed four shutout innings, while giving up three hits and a walk. Five relievers worked behind King, including Austin Christensen, who produced a career-high four strikeouts over 2.0 innings of work. The Husker pitching staff notched 10 strikeouts on the night, while walking three.
