Who will start as qb this year?

Yeah that QB that won every game this last year..... we should all be sick of that guy!
 

If HH had a future at QB (other than emergency duty), HCMR wouldn’t have recruited two HS QBs. And be in heavy on at least one 2024 QB. HH is not a QB. He’s an excellent team player, great athlete, and a Swiss Army knife who has a future in the program in some creative roles TBD. And as an H-back or TE at the next level, with some special teams. Would love to have a few more guys exactly like him, but not taking snaps.

Wildcat is great situational football, or even great change up football. Not full game football.
TF didn't option every play.

We are loaded scholarship wise in the tight end position. I don’t see him getting any more reps there than he would at quarterback and we would need him still practicing at quarterback in case of injuries.

Yup. DR will be the starter. If you want to have an identity on offense, DK is the backup. HH can help mentor and prepare QB1 and QB2. If HH is taking snaps in 2024, it better be a Varsity Blues Tweeter take the snaps situation.

I’d play DK in whatever first 4 games you can get him in. Should DR get injured, his redshirt should come off.

At this time, I'm not certain DR starts the first game (we will know more after spring ball) but he will sometime during the first half of the season. Although I think HH would be a really good TE, I believe HH should remain in the QB room, because of the injury possibility. (Haven't we started 3 different QBs the last few seasons because of the injury bug?) As for DK, I would like to see him get playing time in at least 2 of the first 4 games and then the other 2 games somewhere in the season (preserve the redshirt as long as possible).

@KleinTxHusker, you surprised me. I thought I was the only one who remembered Frank Patrick.
