What would it take for you to sip the Kool-Aid again?

Not until we exceed expectations for three or four conference games in a row which should include wins over quality ranked teams.

I need to see sustained competence, particularly from staff.

Nothing this year has moved my needle from the offseason read. I'm still firmly in a 'show me' frame of mind.

2TD or more wins over michst, maryland, ill, rutgers. None of those games can be closer than 2 tds inthe 4th qtr, and no comebacks from the other team late in the game. ind/ore/osu must be respectable in score and effort. washington is a must win, iowa you better win.....

For me it would be winning the games we are supposed to win (comfortably) and then finally beating a top-20 team. Until then, forget it!
We're improving in the department of winning the games we are "supposed to win". Lost too many of those games under Frost. To start drinking the kool aid we are going to have to start beating teams that qualify as upsets. You obviously aren't going to win all or most of those games, but that's the growth that's needed to get to where we want to be. Nebraska has all the resources to be a top 25 program. Have to be able to beat ranked teams to earn that standing.

I wouldn't even say beating teams that qualify as upsets ... how about winning those toss-up games ... Illinois, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, USC, Washington. We've lost the majority of those kind of games under SF and frankly under MR.

Yeah our schedule has Indiana, Oregon, tOSU ... if we win every other game but those ... I would suggest progress has been made.

A nine win regular season with experienced youth in the wings to follow up.

I'm already sipping... Trying to hold off on chugging the KoolAid until:
- we win 90% of the "matchup" games
- we knock off multiple ranked teams
- we're ranked in the top 20 (not just once but every week)
- other coaches say "that's a team nobody wants to play"
- we have multiple all-conference & all-American selections
