Nebraska All-Americans Tyler Berger and Taylor Venz garnered NWCA All-Academic Team accolades, announced by the National Wrestling Coaches Association on Thursday.

A total of 16 Nebraska wrestlers were named Academic All-Big Ten, the most the wrestling program has put on the list since joining the conference in the 2011-12 academic year, the Big Ten announced Wednesday.Nebraska wrestlers have earned a total of 75 Academic All-Big Ten awards since 2012.

The elite group of Huskers is powered by 18 student-athletes who combined for 47 All-America awards in collegiate competition during their careers. The class features a pair of NCAA Champions in Rhema Otabor (javelin, 2023) and Cecelia Ossi (smallbore rifle, 2023), and two NCAA silver medalist men’s gymnasts in Taylor Christopulos (floor, 2024; all-around, 2023) and Zac Tiderman (high bar, 2024)."
