Well, today was court day for Mo.

Some folks want him locked up and the key buried under the jail. Others want him to never be able to play ball again no matter what the court says. Either would destroy his future.

I have not seen that anywhere, at worst I have seen people want him off the team. Maybe you can provide a link to what you said. If he was kicked off the team he would get a chance to play at another university as he is that talented. Your hyperbole is noted and his life is not going to be ruined even if he is dismissed off the team.

I can't believe Mo is or should be labeled a sex offender. He did a stupid thing, and should be held accountable. But marking him for life is not warranted.

Allow him an opportunity to move on, learn and become the person HCSF expects him to be.

I for one am hoping he gets this issue resolved soon so he can get on with some positive things.

Wrong again. Do not feel like going back to the thread from December-January. There were plenty of queens of hearts hollering off with his head. (That is hyperbole) Additionally if he is found guilty of the most severe charges he would be a registered sex offender. If you really think ANY school would bring in a sex offender to play football. You are living in a bubble.

The most extreme anyone said was him being kicked off the team and dismissed from Nebraska. That will not ruin his life. The sex offender issue is a court issue and completely separate.

Don't know you can say it's completely separate. If Mo gets convicted on a sex crime, it's bye-bye Big Red.

Correct. However, let's let the justice system play out.

What he did was an bad guy thing to do. While technically illegal, I don't think it will be pursued that aggressively. He will plea down, take his punishment. His punishment from Coach Frost/DONU will be commensurate with a misdemeanor (1-2 game suspension)

Here are some from that thread.
What is wrong with you? 15 year old girl getting you know whated on video. Doesnt matter if it's "rape". She's 15. Child porn. Stop embarrassing yourself.

and again as a Labeled sex offender. No other team will touch him.

Hope he comes out of this ok and gets something like a one game suspension. What he did to the girl was bad, but really I think the media coverage is punishment enough. Millions of people know he did a bad thing, and that has to feel pretty terrible. As long as he expresses true remorse, and gives a heartfelt apology to the victim, I'm ok with him playing ball at NU.

I hope California doesn't throw the book at him or ruin his life by making him register as a sex offender.
