Cannot believe the regular season is over. Almost time to return to the dark ages for one more year.

USM lost to Memphis 42-24 and is now 0-12.
UCLA lost to Stanford 35-17 and is 9-3
Ark State played Bye and remains 8-3
Idaho State's season ended last week and remains 1-10
UW lost to PSU 24-21 in OT and limps into the B1G CCG at 7-5
OSU beat UM 26-21 and is 12-0
NW beat Illinois 50-14 and is 9-3
UM lost to OSU 26-21 and is 8-4
MSU beat Minn 26-10 and is 6-6
PSU beat UW 24-21 in OT and is 8-4
Minn lost to MSU 26-10 and is 6-6
Iowa lost to NU 13-7 and falls to 4-8

Our opponent is now 78-64 (.549) and NU is 10-2 (.833)

Seven of our opponents are now bowl eligible (Nine would have been but two (OSU and PSU) are on probation)

I read a thread today that called Bo a lucky coach. Just wanted to get this down for history.

Bo's five years at NU

year one

9-4
5-3 in the Big XII and ties for first in the division

year two

10-4
6-2 in the Big XII and wins the division and loses in the CCG

year three

10-4
6-2 in the Big XII and wins the division and loses in the CCG

year four

9-4
5-3 in the B1G and is third in the division

year five

10-2 (so far)
7-1 in the B1G and wins the division and still has the CCG to play

49-18 in five years with two game left.

He is 2-2 in bowl games with one left to play is 0-2 in CCG with one to play

yes, a lucky coach. ;)

and finally the stats I've followed this year.....

Rushing Offense: 8th (same as last week)
Total Offense: 26th (same as last week)
Rushing Defense: 73rd (up from 77th)
Total Defense: 15th (up from 19th)
Scoring Defense: 31st (up from 41st)

I like seeing those defensive numbers getting better.

Those defensive improvements were largely due to a 15 degree 35 mph wind blowing the entire game. With the air attack of both teams virtually grounded, it's easy to see why yards weren't piled up. But yea, it's good to see numbers headed in the right direction. The defense has improved over the season. It's a trend over the past few years. Bo has coached them up.

our SOS dropped to 12th from 3rd. They must have gone to a different source or Iowa is really bad for this stat.
