Its going to be miserable. I can understand why the sellout streak could end. But, to be fair, it has always been miserable in the Aug/Early Sept games at Memorial Stadium. The Troy Edwards game vs La Tech comes to mind. When the team is better, it is slightly more bearable but Saturday will be hot, there wont be enough drinks, etc. That said, I will be there sweating my ____s off! Go Big Red!

Soccer FIFA World Cup stadiums demands natural grass like MetLife, Atlanta Mercedes-Benz, Jerry's World, Lumen Field (Seattle Seahawks), LA SoFi, etc.

Grass field replaces turf inside Jerry's World just before FIFA cup game (AT&T stadium)

Is it too late from 11:00AM kick off time to 8:00PM ??

Yes it will be hot. Usually is the first few weeks of the season. That said, about 50 other universities will be just as hot as is NU. This is nothing new. Always been the case. 95° is a break. It could be higher. Oklahoma will kickoff Friday night and the temp will be around 100° when they kickoff. We have had weeks of 100° weather here. Bone dry. It’s not new, it’s suppose to be hot right now. Been going on for 130 years or so.

OU 9/4 stadium, natural grass surface and 8:00PM kickoff. Much different compared to 11:00AM and fake turf. Sun thing ...

Was interesting the contraptions they brought in for grow lights for the grass on the indoor stadiums. Makes me wonder if they'll continue to explore that technology for football.

Move from outdoor gadget to indoor stadiums .....

the gadget. Just replace from heat lamps to UV lights
