Convince me otherwise. It is not the . It is the fact that we have the players. Get Glen Thomas a little more involved.

What we DID see today is a team that kept fighting regardless of the bad breaks. This game felt a lot like the '94 Orange Bowl (NU 16 -- FSU 18). Fighting more opponents than just the other team. But we kept coming back. This was a totally different team than what we saw last week. (was it the pants??? )
SO close to ending so many bad streaks... but of course it's marked down as a loss for all history.
Just keep it goin' boys!!
Screen pass? And when we needed a first down to end the game, what do we call? Screen pass. Take that play out of the play book and hide it.Yep, we are going to screen pass our way to 9-3.
That's frowned up on. CarefulsUNsHiNe PuMpEr!!!!!!
I think you’re being a little pessimistic. We could. But I'd assign probabilities of 1, 2, 3, 4 more wins of 90%, 35%, 15%, and 5%. Until proven otherwise this team is still maddeningly inconsistent.
Please, Greater Being of Football, let us beat UCLA and be relieved of our bowl denial torment and I'll never ask for anything else again. Until next season.
Eh, I still feel better about this loss than I did the 56-7 loss. We had a chance in this game. That’s more than anybody expected going into the game.I wouldn’t feel so great about today’s loss, despite it being to a great team. We are the team that loses close games. It doesn’t matter who we play, if you don’t know how to win you don’t. This is the kind of upset you see teams pulling off every weekend. When was the last time we did it? We just aren’t up to the task.
Before the Purdue game, there was an article about Purdue being a giant killer, but no more. The reason is, they have knucklehead coaches lately. They used to have Joe Tiller, who always had his team ready and didn’t make mistakes. Lately, the last 25 years, we are the team coached by knuckleheads, and we don’t know how to win.
So again, while I wanted to win as bad as anyone, it seemed inevitable that we would fail to get to the finish line. Until there are some major changes, that won’t change. We false start, illegal shift or aren’t on the same page between quarterback and receivers. That has got to change!
