Technically that’s true…but getting to a bowl was a goal in 2024. This team lost 5 of their last 6…low expectations are understandable.
Not so bold. We’re not getting paired against a play off bound team. We’re being paired with a lower bowl opponent. An opponent that probably won’t be as motivated as us.
We’re winning it. As long as some one else pointed out, we don’t play against Nebraska.
We are always playing against Nebraska. We need to learn to close.
Nebraska needs a Bo Pelini type influence.
The kind of guy who can look a dude like Suh in the eyes and tell him he's playing like crap compared to his potential.
Someone a little unhinged. Someone who will light an actual fire under the right players.
Preferably, the defensive coordinator. .
The OC needs to be calm, cool, and collected. Strategic, logical, and patient.
We need a DC who is ruthless.

John Butler the DB coach is said to be a fiery guy who is not afraid to show emotion and has been a DC in the Big Ten before at Penn State under Bill O'Brien My guess is he would be Coach Rhules first choice and that was probably part of the reason he is here now as he wants to be a DC again
