WBB Game #28, (W, 59-51), Thu, 2/22, vs Penn State (#83) (15-12) (6-8), @ PBA, 7:00 pm CST, BTN

We will be 20 - 8 and 11 - 4 after tonight, and tied with Maryland for second place in the B1G. That is amazing. We play the Terrapins next for the last game of the regular season on the 25th. How sweet it would be to knock off the Terps for win #21 and a 12 - 4 con record.

40 - 47 with 8:45 left in the game.

Lady Huskers win # 20 and earned a double by in the tourney, 59 - 51 final..... SWEET!!!!

Just finished watching the game on DVR. With the 17 turnovers and way off shooting night, it's good the ladies decided to shoot well from the line tonight by hitting 19-25 and outrebounded Penn State by almost doubling them up 60-31. Cain's 20 rebounds was pretty sweet. Next game, Cain gets 21 rebounds to match the team's 21st win.

I like our chances beating Maryland!!!!!! This could prove to be a good tune-up game for the rematch. PSU's pressure got to us; but that might be a good experience before meeting Maryland, and they got a lot more steals and turnovers, but was made up by our own defense and rebounding, which was almost double Maryland's, 60 rbs vs 31. Matt and Jeff were talking a little bit about the game and they were wondering if Maryland wasn't getting run down a little from the grind. We have the deeper roster and bench. No doubt we'll have to bring our 'A' Game to beat Maryland at home; and shoot better, especially from Three.

amazing stats: there were a total of 110 points scored last night between the two teams. Also 91 rebounds. 91. Unbelievable.

Maddie Simon: "Sixty rebounds, that was awesome.” That represents the ninth-best rebounding game in program history. :Mfclap::Mfclap::Mfclap:

Those rebounds were lifesavers as the Huskers missed 41 field goal attempts in the game, and including shooting just 2-of-20 on three-pointers.

An interesting thing to me was PSU was very aggressive on Defense all night; the pressure was obviously disruptive to our offense, but there didn't seem to be all that many fouls (or they weren't calling them).
