Huskers Shoot for Split with Hungry Hoosiers
The Nebraska women’s basketball team continues its three-game home stand to close the regular season by taking on Indiana.

Nebraska will try to rebound from one of its most disappointing games of the season, which came with a 68-50 loss to Purdue. Not only did the Huskers suffer their eighth conference loss, they lost senior starter Kyndal Clark, with a likely season-ending injury in Saturday’s practice.

The Huskers also played without senior starter Rachel Theriot, who aggravated a recurring ankle injury. Theriot will be a game-time decision for Wednesday’s clash with the Hoosiers.

Indiana is coming off a 76-73 loss at Iowa Sunday.

Indiana has won eight of its last 10 games to improve to 10-6 in the Big Ten. The Hoosiers, who are 13-0 at home this season including a 59-47 victory over the Huskers on Feb. 7, are hoping for a 2-0 week to close the regular season and secure their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2002.
