Britt isn't going anywhere. She's a Nebraska kid, and where else would she be the focus of the offense? Amy's guard oriented offense is perfect for Prince. Oregon wanted her badly, and she chose Nebraska. She's also been a huge "peer recruiter" for Nebraska. The kids Amy got want to play with Britt.

Like most offenses these days, Amy's tries to be "positionless" but next season I think we'll see Britt playing more 2-guard/wing like Jaz did and less PG so she can hunt for her shot and be more of a scorer instead of having to run the offense and distribute the ball. That's one of the adjustments Amy seemed to make today, with Kennadi at PG more and Prince at SG/wing.

Lastly, Creme's the only bracketologist who doesn't think Nebraska gets into the Big Ten tournament. Even before they got their first quad 1 win today most brackets had the Huskers still in the tournament as an 11-seed. The UVA win keeps looking better and better too.

I still don't like the frontcourt starting lineup. Peatrie and Fisher should be the top two options alongside Hargrove. Bozan is just getting her lunch handed to her on the boards. I'm sure she's working hard, the results just aren't there. You can't start and only get one defensive rebound in 17 minutes. The Huskers also got really lucky late. I didn't like Amy matching Kennadi on Sellers late. IMO, you go offense/defense there, and put your best defender on Sellers, and that's Hake.

Just a huge win for NCAA tournament hopes. I still think the Huskers are pretty much locked into the 12-seed for the B1G tournament.

They have 11 conference losses and only the home game against 1-15 Rutgers remaining.
Wisconsin also has 11 losses; but, they are playing at UCLA later today and host Iowa next weekend.
Huskers are two wins behind the next team, so no way to move up any seed spots.

you make some good points, but Prince isn't IMO that type of self gratifying player that needs to be the focal, shes' a great player that wants to win...and being a Nebraska kid does help, but not always. ( Jessica Shepard was certainly the focal when she was at NU, but eventually she wanted to win on a higher level as most great players do.). I'm rooting for you to be right. I do acknowledge last year (July ) when Tennessee made a push and reportedly a 4.7 NIL offer she turned them down, but how long can she say no when the progress we've made is 2 games in the NCAA tourney as a freshman and a step back this year (possibly no tourney) and teams reaching out that are making deeper runs into March.

They will be #12 unless they inexplicably lose to Rutgers, in which case, if Wisconsin beats Iowa (not likely), Huskers drop to #13. Opponent will be either Wisconsin or Indiana.

I'm picking all home teams except UCLA and Iowa on Sunday.
FWIW, I think many would consider USC a bigger disappointment than Nebraska.

USC gets a pass because JuJu's out this season. Their best player this season is freshman 6'1 G Jazzy Davidson. Davidson leads them in scoring and rebounding. She was also just named to the Naismith All Defensive POTY Late Season Team

Their problem is without JuJu, they're getting killed on the boards. They've also been unable to make up for the problems on offense in the frontcourt by hitting from three They're only shooting 30% from three.

Any team, you take out a player like JuJu they're going to have problems. UCLA would be in the same situation without Betts, and Nebraska would be in the basement without Prince.

It's really nice to see the Huskers open up a can of whoop... on somebody for the first time in months!

Secondly, what has happened to Rutgers?!? Under Stringer, they used to be a top 20 program!
 
As everybody probably knows, I love Callin Hake. I love the way she plays D and plays with so much joy. It's great to see some of her shots going down on Senior Day.
 
I really hope Callin's Senior Day doesn't end because of a hand to the face. The first one to Weaver's face I could excuse as an accident. The seond one, you're playing a bit out of control and gotta fix that.
