Who knows? Maybe the huskers manage to finish in the top 15 or so this year and Trae Taylor will turn out to be the real deal and he will come in and light a fire on the whole program. A top ten finish this year will do wonders to recruiting, which to my untrained eye, seems to be on the upswing.
Today is one of my optimistic days. It just wouldnt be surprising to find out that all of the facility upgrades with the weight room and the other player training programs that they all turn into wins on the field. One of these years and I hope it is soon it will all jell and long term success will be returned to Lincoln. I still look at the success of virtually EVERY OTHER SPORT at the U has had since joining the Big Ten. I cannot believe football is exempt. It is going to start this August!

Not attacking your opinion, but I do not think HCMR cares about a "hot seat" He already has his money. He will just move on to coach Baylor. While we will get another coach looking for a money grab.
Yea most of those Troll accounts are still pissed we got rid or Riley and Frost.
Except Rhule has triple the buyout Frost had. Big difference.

Printing is horrible.
Articles are just okay.
Team reviews are done by high schools students or AI.
Hope the regional issues or Lindy's which come out next week are better.

Lol, I quit looking at those worthless mags 10+ years ago.
Or maybe all people aren't just happy to have money and actually want to be good at their profession. I think not believing that says something about a person.
Man, it brings back my youth.
We used to go to ESTES PARK for vacation every summer.
They have a nice little book sore on the main street and I would make my parents take me there to get all the football magazines.
They would do it so I would read in the afternoon when it rained and they were napping
.Big Eight was all NU and OU in the 1960's and 1970's so I read those things cover to cover and back again......
Man, it brings back my youth.

I have similar memories of purchasing all the magazines back in the mid 80’s-early 90’s…great times. I remember I couldn’t wait for the media guide and offensive/defensive schedule posters to arrive in the mail!!
The challenge now a days is being able to accurately report updated rosters and to be able to predict how they will actually play when so many players are new with revolving rosters/transfers.
I think it hurts the credibility of the magazines but at the same time it isn’t their fault with the new modern college football world we/they live in.

Lindy's was there so I got it.
Much, much better magazine.
Better feature articles, better look at recruiting, TP, ranking of player groups, etc.
Two page spreads of the top three in each conference, one page spread of others.
Only DONU players recognized are Barney (ST) and Evans (3rd team o-line).
By rankings, we go 6-6.
If you are interested in football, Lindy's is worth the price, fun read, only North Dakota of the teams we play is not reviewed.

I hear you brotha. Totally the same for me except mine would be 1975. Couldn’t wait in the 1980’s and 1990’s for those to hit the shelves. Loved them up to about 2004 or so.The info is all over the internet, and those mags aren’t .75 anymore. Lol. You and I have a much better handle on Nebraska football than a national bunch who doesn’t pay close enough attention.Man, it brings back my youth.

Think it use to be many many of us. The spring and summer hype is very predictable which leads to or use to lead to some hope for the season They take the field and we all see nothing has changed.
I stay away from the hype now as it means little
