Alot of players opted out this year, most will go into the draft or try their wares in the NFL.
Having another year under your belt at the college level is betting on yourself by becoming a better player too compete better at the next level, no doubt.
Now, a simple question. Our guys who left, what does it gain them, and knowing it matters by position ,how much more growth could expect to be garnered?
This is aimed at the guys on the cusp especially, not the for sure guys.
Do O linemen generally start in the NFL right away? Yes, mostly , same for rbs, at the least STs, every years precious to that position.
We dont often see starting db rookies in the nfl, possibly later in the season lower picks. Possibly switch out but non starting D linemen.
Is this a fair assessment?
