While it may be sad that someone is selling this, no one knows the situation. May need the $$ for something way more important than a ring. Would rather see this than some random GoFundMe leaning on the fact that someone was on a sports team. Not stating this specifically to this ring sale, but my overall take in general.
Agreed. This is sad, but a person's priorities change during a lifetime. Family and friends will do that to a person's view of the world.
Hopefully, that priority isn't beer money. That would be a bad situation. I've heard of it happening.
Some rich NIL donor (aren't they all?) should do the right thing and buy them, then give them back to the former player.
