Coach is trying everything but without Horn as a solid middle reliever….we are just kind of…. bad….in this department….and have been all season. Our bats have saved us time and again. Just like today. Give up a five run lead totally common.
And we honestly need Horn as a starter.
Katskee’s decline has been…disturbing….kid has lost all confidence and is overthrowing and just getting pummeled.
Game vs Creighton will be….interesting….methinks. Tomorrow I think we are good with Blasky.
Tournament time, our middle relievers are each going to HAVE to be on very short strings.

If this team had one really good shut down middle reliever… a two inning shut down.
It would be better than just a “very good team.”

Caleb and Worthley are just ok…Mannell inconsistent as heck and unfortunately Olsen, Bender, Cleavanger, Harrahill and the others just can’t get it done. Drives me crazy.
But folks….this is college baseball in a nutshell.

Our bats have covered up this weakness nicely this year…. My only hope is it will do the same when we hit tournament time.

Oregon will get swept by UCLA which I think could help us immensely.
Had UCLA on the ropes and just gave up a grand slam.
But we can’t look at those things.
There are four games left. We have to play them one at a time and just concentrate on each one.
