Thanks for the info. I noticed in the box score that he was replaced for a pinch runner. I hope he is OK.Gordon left today's game after being struck on the knee with a pitch. Shouldn't be too serious.
Agree...Konerko is more deserving and was surprised he was left off....same with Sabathia.Konerko is probably most deserving... .317 with 21 HRs and 62 RBIs.... that's 4th, 3rd, and 3rd respectively in the AL. He shouldn't even be on this ballot -- should have gotten in regardless. But I'll probably vote for Alex.![]()
Yeah, I don't think he will win the vote, but he has had a good year so far.the injury isn't helping AG's chances nor did striking out 4 times last night, regardless of the vote, he is having a good year
Alex is having a very good year, but not great....that word is thrown out there too often........Great is once in a lifetime season or hall of fame imo.Well, Alex didn't make it, but he is still having a great year. His batting average is over .300 again.
Understood, but I don't consider great to be once in a lifetime. I would categorize that as awesome.Alex is having a very good year, but not great....that word is thrown out there too often........Great is once in a lifetime season or hall of fame imo.
