I have a half season Thunder season tix. It was definitely loud in there last night. Tons of people all over the city the last few days. I was sad to read about some of the businesses being ill prepared for this tourney. If they weren’t, that’s a management issue. The city can’t do anything about that. Bad look on those establishments if they were understaffed, lacked product, had short hours. Eight teams coming in here. All will be downtown. Common sense says people will be out. Some seemingly missed out of much more business. Sometimes middle of the week Thunder games there are many things not open, or closed early.

Basically the gripe from those I knew who drove down was that the bars ran out of Busch Lite beer……which though a staple of south central NEB, is apparently not really stocked in OKC establishments..

Even if that’s a fact, they still communicated a clear message. Do you think that helped the CEO keep her job?

I don’t drink, so I really don’t care. But Bud Light pivoted their public imaging pretty quickly. Jaguar don’t get the message.
