NU is now 14-3 in the conference, and 30-9 overall. Congratulations to the Huskers.
By my count, in the first 4 innings of the series, they outscored us 5-0. In the 13 innings since then, we outscored them 20-4.

Clinical. Winning tomorrow would be a multi-season peak in performance meeting hopes. The first inning today was such an emphatic follow on to last night, it was awesome. Then to finish off the game by not letting them score the last runs and use no relief arms as a result, very nice.
Was listening to Will pre-game speak about last night’s game and the ABs. He knows how the Ks kill and the fan take on them (cuz he’s coach AND fan both so to speak). He was pleased with the quality of contact versus the ace and he felt the ABs despite the K count didn’t crush confidence for later in game. Results showed.
Let’s get Game 3, the sweep and, spitefully, hope OSU softens KU a little for our coming rematch. We owe them.
