Here’s what I want to see more than anything. I want to see Rhule actually out coach one of the favorites: Ohio State, Oregon, Iowa, Indiana, or Washington.

In the last four years, I’ve watched as he’s fumbled (pun intended) games away. The last upset that I remember over a top ten team was Michigan State.

That’d go a long way proving to me that Rhule’s the right guy for the job. Just one upset over a top ten opponent, is that too much to ask?

Some of the losses to Iowa have been really painful and pitiful (minus last season's blowout). And the absolute lack of preparedness vs Minnesota last year.

Go big or go home! I just want us to win one game that we shouldn’t because we are underdogs. I want to see a win in the 4th quarter with a game winning drive or god forbid an overtime win against a ranked team.

Indiana plays @Rutgers the week before NU game and then they host tOSU the week after. You hope the NU game is a bit of a look ahead game for them.

Oregon plays @USC, bye week then hosts UCLA before NU and then travels to Illinois.

Washington hosts Iowa, then plays at Purdue, bye week and then at NU before hosting PSU.

I would say the schedule gods makes Indiana the most likely upset candidate.

Would like to see Rhule and staff outcoach any of their opponents...... I think he and staff have been awful in pregame prep and in-game coaching. Sheesh, you would think by now they would have accidentally beat a top 25 opponent, but can't even do that.

At this time of year, #41 is close enough to possibly be #1 at the end of the season.

Or possibly #98 at the end of the season.

Hoping for the first possibility listed.

No because Indiana and Oregon are first up, and both will be in the top 10, or more likely the top 5. Need to win one of those, or better yet, both. Do that, and NU is in the Top 5. It’s right there. Go grab it.

Let's hope we don't have to get into that position too often. As so many games in the past, our 2nd half is the opposite of what the 1 half looks like. In other words, our offense goes to sleep in the 2nd half. Some times, just from wanting to be "conservative"!!!

So you feel NU is a top 5 team? At worst a top 10 with a split of those two games?

I guess you found the koolaid and have reconsidered the long list of "problems" you feel NU has.

I will be upset if NU cant have atleast 1 upset.

I have been around this game long enough to know that there is really only 3 teams that most would consider an upset victory (Oregon, Ohio St, and Indiana if they are anything like the last two years). If the Huskers beat any of the other teams (even if it is an upset based on poll rankings) many on here will respond with, "good job we beat a team we should beat. It is not really an upset if you should beat them" or something along those lines lol.

Oddly enough I believe the win probability put out by ESPN indicates there are only 4 teams we should lose to (the top 3 and Iowa) so I guess your comments would technically be correct lol.
