UCLA NEXT COACH - Tony White? - NOPE! It's Deshaun Foster.

I live in Minnesota and know a guy on the inside in the university football program. Since PJ Fleck came here the insiders at first were skeptical and now realize he isn't going to win the conference. NIL is poor at Minnesota. They blame that on the many professional sports in town. If PJ gets an offer, (and I read an article today that said he is high on UCLA's list) he will take it I think.
Sounds like too many things to do in LA and is why they went off and on without an NFL team.
I've lived in Minny too. Not buying it. There TV numbers are atrocious.
They just don't have enough people with the giveadamns

UCLA is a dumpster fire that eats coaches for breakfast. I would think TW would weigh that heavily if they come calling for him.
I absolutely agree. Whoever goes there right now is entering at a bad time. This years recruiting was terrible. I think rated in the 80’s. They lost their only 5 star to a transfer and lost a bunch of 4 stars to transfer/graduation/draft.

Whomever goes in will have an anchor the size of the titanic to start their career.

UCLA needs an experienced HC to quickly navigate the portal NIL evolution. There's obviously money in LA, but making it dance takes focus and know how.

Matter of fact, I'd advise any young assistant coach to think twice before jumping into any HC position at a top 40 school which are the ones that really need to play NIL. Wait a couple of years until the dust settles. Or take a gig for now at a school a little lower down with lower expectations, then jump to the big time later.

That pretty much explains how I see it too.

i have family who lives in minny, only thing ive ever seen from them is vikings gear....

Having gone to the season opener last year in Minnesota, I have to say it's one of the more lackluster environments I've ever been in. I am still somewhat in shock we lost that game but pretty mediocre game day experience either way.

From what I read last night, I believe he bowed out. I could be wrong as it was only one source.

Is there any actual smoke to this or it it just media publishing click bait?
