I met a a Marine Sgt in the Wounded Warrior Ward at Balboa you would have loved....lost both his legs in Iraq....what a great attitude and a GREAT American....was back in the hospital to have some work done on his right knee....left knee was gone...

I met some real good USAF folks in Portugal. They really changed my mind on the USAF. I have recommended to my son that he sign up. He is seriously considering it. Any recommendations for career path?
 



Fatigue is setting in for Cuba, mental errors piling up for them with no pressure from the US players.
 
Aircraft Maintenance....best promotion rate (enlisted and officer) and the combat arm of the USAF....I'm biased as I was one....but along with Ops (pilots) the only two career fields to be in.....rest is pretty much all support....we were refered to as the 'grunts' of the USAF...a moniker we took with pride...all others we called 'noners'...or non sortie producers...

He isn't real handy with tools. He is looking towards ATC....something to take to the civilian sector to have a career.

Understand....not for everyone...

Very good careers in Maintenance both in civil service and private industry....
