We gave up 56 points LOL. That was all due to the offense? C'mon man. They couldn't stop a damn thing all day. Indiana had over 340 yards IN THE FIRST HALF.
Name me a team with a heartbeat offensively that we didn't have problems with defensively over the last two years. I wouldn't even put Colorado in that group as they play in a putrid conference.

sorry but when 2 of the 3 phases of the game suck nuts, the third is gonna collapse sooner or later. the defense is the best part of this team and while they played poorly, it was nothing in comparison to the other 2 phases.
The defense didn't collapse because of the other failures, the defense was bad out of the gate, so your analogy doesn't work here.
your focusing too much on a single team and not paying attention to the fundamental fact, if 2 phases of the game are failures, the percentages are in favor of the 3rd phase also collapsing. the defense has done well in most games despite the offenses terrible play and the ST putting the defense in horrible spots. even the colorado game the offense was only good for one half, the other half the defense had to carry the team. say what you want about the quality of opponent, facts are facts, 2/3 phases that suck, it wont matter what the 3rd phase does.
they didn't display anything different from other games. poor tackling, maintaining the edge, and filling running lanes. Indiana wasnt the first and wont be the last game we see these things. we saw them on the first drive of the lllinois game.
