My daughter said he is part of the 'roundtable'.....positive things to say about Nebraska in our game with South Carolina.....sounds like they think this game could go either way....good match-up....

Not a bad gig for him until he gets back into coaching.....


Should be on again on ESPNU.....

About the only gig he will get with his disaster as a Big time coach.

From what I heard he red-shirted a bunch of guys. Guess he shouldn't have been concerned with building a program. He really got a raw deal there. 2 years is such a joke. I don't care WHAT the results were. This is KANSAS we're talking about and he took over a disaster. They deserve what they get.

That is one concern I had with him. What was the rule? No girls after 10pm or something like that? That's not going to fly anywhere.

That was one of TG's rules? Seriously, I thought that was a joke someone made here on the BBS way back when Gill was just hired at KU.

Turner walked into a bad situation. He followed an abusive coach that had one decent recruiting class that had just graduated and then had the AD that hired him and would have likely backed him get canned. As far as worst coach in the BCS conference ever? Not likely. You can name the last dozen at Minnesota alone for that title.
 

I could see Gill doing the TV thing for one season, and make some contacts. There are a lot of CFB teams out there, and I'm sure one will take a chance on him. May not be a great program, but he'll get another shot somewhere.
