Good point, that would hurt my feelings quite a bit.
I will definitely be more careful with my comments moving forward. Getting called a douche when I simply responded to Smokers post completely ruined my day.
Edit: What really hurts, the poster that called me a douche is supposedly a "reasonable Husker fan".

This thread has lost me completely….
How does me being a veteran…. Or anyone else being a veteran….have anything to do with the President’s executive order that while meaning well…will most likely either be ignored completely or taken to court and prevented until the administration changes…
Or both…
The elephant in the room is:
I think we’re all scared to death on what this massive influx of money is going to do to a so-called amateur sport that we love. And then you have the moral issue of if all these boosters are throwing millions of dollars toward an appendage measuring contest to see who has the best college football team…… then where is the normal money that is donated for the public good like libraries and science buildings and campus facilities and here’s an idea…. Lower tuition……
Well, just where is that money going to come from? I mean, these millionaires only have so much.
And the biggest frustration is there doesn’t seem to be a damn thing we can do about it except stop watching and walk away.
