Trump Executive Order

My take on the President’s executive order…

I should’ve been a lawyer instead of a soldier….

The genie is out of the bottle folks… this will either mutate into something we can ultimately live with….

Or interest in the overall sport slowly declines.

It will always be a big sport, but I think the Golden Days are gone….at least for the vast majority of college football fans. A 20 year-old kid who is gifted on the athletic field that hasn’t done shite in life and who only represents maybe 3% of all the athletes….. will surely benefit greatly.

TV executives, conference administrators and all the white collar folks associated will also benefit. And those 40 or so schools that actually will make money will also benefit..

And the lawyers, while this is all mutating one way or another…. Will absolutely benefit.

The fans, and the sport itself…..nope.

Me, I’m 72, a lifelong college football fan, and I’m fast losing interest.

Unfortunate, but the truth.

I am a VET, and to be honest I get a little tired of people using Veterans to strengthen their arguments. What you said makes zero sense.
