It’s a short synopsis of Tikey’s journey where he ended up at Nebraska joining another local prodigy in our program.

I believe by the time he decided he wanted to transfer, the portal window was about to close and couldn't find a team. So he decided to go the JUCO route thinking he wouldn't have an opportunity to play anywhere else. At least that's what I heard. Take it for what its worth.

Having spent some time in western PA, I'll take a kid from Aliquippa any day of the week. Those kids are a different breed. Tough. And based on his scouting report, his style of running matches that mentality.

Quite frankly, even if Mekhi didn't get arrested, I really wanted to see another body in that room. This is a solid late season pickup.

What tempers my expectations a bit is the fact that he did not benefit from a full offseason in a program like Nebraska.

I had to laugh a bit at that comment. The jury is still out on Rhule’s development program. They aren’t exactly churning out first rounders after four years.
