I'm at the point where reports of my death will no longer contain the word "untimely".I am at point where i count backwards lol
Yeah... But does that mean he accrued some demerits? From all accounts he should be back
..or implies, given the coaching changes and mess Penn St went through...he could have went into the portal where he got lost/buried in the thousands that were in there and never got picked up. Going to a CC would be an option.Does anyone know the story of his exit from Penn State?
Going to a CC implies there were setbacks.

I believe by the time he decided he wanted to transfer, the portal window was about to close and couldn't find a team. So he decided to go the JUCO route thinking he wouldn't have an opportunity to play anywhere else. At least that's what I heard. Take it for what its worth. He entered the portal he did not directly go to IWCC
Why he chose to go the JUCO route in May I have no clue
He is fully qualified academically which is why he could make the move to Nebraska
I have heard he had an injury to what extent I do not know
He was set to the starting RB at IWCC leading me to believe he is healthy enough to play and compete
Also keep in my their was a coaching change at Penn State which may have factored into his decision too
Bottom line I no doubt our staff has covered all of these bases when they went after him and offered him a scholarship against the 2026 class

Having spent some time in western PA, I'll take a kid from Aliquippa any day of the week. Those kids are a different breed. Tough. And based on his scouting report, his style of running matches that mentality.
Quite frankly, even if Mekhi didn't get arrested, I really wanted to see another body in that room. This is a solid late season pickup.
We shall see
I dont like using a frosh too much, and its possible Rule is the best back which would lead to exactly that.
Getting Tikey avoids that issue and solidifies the room.
Yep, expected contributor at a decent level or better. It gives time for Rule, adds fresh legs and gives another style. My issue is he has carried the ball three times in the B1G
To annointe him the starter based on that is hyperbole
With that being daid a more than solid pickup
The competition in the fall will shakeout who is who as it should be
