Transfer Rumors!!!

These players have a month to find a new team and as I have heard many will declare and commit literally at the same time at 12:01 or whenever the portal opens

Dylan Edwards quit at KSU late season and said he is transferring. They can announce when they want to. They're just done at that school unless they back out like EJ.

This is actually a great example of "if it were easy, everybody would do it"... it's one of the easiest parts of negotiating 101, so everybody can and/or does do it.

Piss poor returner? He is 8th in the country at 12.8 per and 10th in total yards on punts returns. A lot of that was on athleticism. Sure he had some questionable ones that should have been fair caught, but he was still top 10.

I am of the belief that Ek gave him the green light to return any and all punts. I could be wrong but I don't think so.

It’s the questionable decisions I have an issue with … the targeting/safety at Iowa should have never been returned. Caught several others throughout the season inside the 10 yard line. Yeah he’s a freaky quick athlete, ideal for punt returning but his decision making was my huge issue.

Agreed.

There were some reports earlier in the season that we were interested in Tucker Holloway from Virginia Tech. That doesn't make a lot of sense with Barney staying. He may not be going anywhere, but it at least has me believing we are looking at contingency plans if he does go.

Really, they can “say bye bye” to any player any time they want. Most of the leverage is with the players, but not all of it.

They can talk about the portal whenever they want, and can announce their plans to enter it whenever they want. They just can't enter it until it opens on January 2.
