I originally posted that I predict he will stay which I can't say. I do predict he will be with us next year and probably until he might turn pro. Are you willing to predict he will not be with us next season?

Hard to predict the whims of a 17 year old. They change their mind often...even more so when $5-6 million is in play. If he decides to be here, welcome aboard. If not, good luck.

I am not saying anything, there was an article that implied that Trae's dad and possibly the husker coaches were not happy with Trae carrying the ball 24 times. I do think that the MS coaches are going to have a hard time keeping everyone happy and still trying to win high school football games any way they can.

You are right that the Millard coaches will have extra scrutiny on how they handle Trae. Football is one of those things where everyone is an expert and many Husker fans look at Trae more as a Husker than a Millard South high school player. But that is what he is now and the pressure to win on the MS coaches must be pretty high for two reasons. One is obvious, but the second is the Millard staff has extra pressure to develop this kid to be as great as his hype. I don't envy them.

I wonder if Trae Taylor can turn down the BIG money that’s going to be offered him as his star keeps rising? Can he resist the life altering money offered by schools like IU, Texas, AtM, Oregon, Ohio State, Michigan, etc? How much can Nebraska really offer him next season? Can/will an 18 year old say no to 5 or 6 million a season? If he’s still rated the #1 prep QB in the nation at the end of this season he will for sure be flooded with million dollar offers. College football is mostly all about the money now...

I’m with you. Regardless of what anyone says, he’s human. What if Colandrea wants to come back for year 5? What if the team goes 4-8 or even 6-6 again? There would be bad press, not to mention the fans anger. I don’t care if he moved to Nebraska or not, nothing matters until the ink is legit. 6 million will get a lot of people to move. Lots of factors in play IMO. NU had better turn the corner this year, it’s in their best interests, otherwise things will get very bumpy. 90% of people won’t earn 6 million in their entire working careers. Money talks, especially in the Wild West.
