TJ Lateef 2! We have two quarterbacks!

Enjoy the win. Enjoy watching TJ improve and develop. Maybe @Husker In Oklahoma was right last season. I’m impressed with both quarterbacks. Very impressed with the offensive line. Still a lot of season left and who knows what this team really is, but I believe they might be something fun to watch. Six wins or nine I’m going to enjoy it.

He needs playmakers around him and development. He has a strong arm and can run. Needs to play.

With Trae Taylor coming in next season it’s very doubtful that Lateef remains w/ NU. Hoping Kaelin, a Nebraska boy, remains with NU.

Get DK snaps this season. He has experience with Virginia and is statistically better in some areas than TJ.

TJ looked awesome during the UCLA game last year. It’s not like he has never impressed us before. But he didn’t fare so well in the remaining games on the 2025 schedule. Probably shouldn’t put too much stock in how he looked in mop up duty against Bowling Green when the game was essentially out of reach.

Having said that, he did look good and seemed to play with confidence for what it’s worth.

I got to watch the highlights of the game this morning and I love how far TJ has come. He is fun to watch. From what I saw from highlights (this week and last) Anthony is definitely number 1 right now but TJ isn't that far off.

(also the OL is much improved this year, that makes things easier for the skillz position to shine)

We definitely need to wait and see what happens against power 4 opponents. I feel like improvement has been made. Hopefully I still feel that way in seven weeks.

I can’t imagine all of the quarterbacks would stay. I would assume at least one would leave if Colandrea stays.

I agree there's a very good chance Colandrea comes back for another year. The 2027 NFL draft is loaded with potential QBs so unless some of those also have the ability to stay another year it's going to be tough being a high draft choice.
