Malcom is an under-the radar kid who our coaches have sniffed out...he is starting to attract attention....sounds like he is really interested in us and offer could get a commit...

The Cornhuskers are recruiting Creer as a running back and while they weren’t ready to offer, they are serious about getting to know him.

“I am going to go on an official visit the 21st,â€￾ said Creer. “They want me to see the campus and meet the running back coach.â€￾

Keep in mind we have 16 recruits who have commiited thus far and add in Bronson Marsh and Braylon Heard and it leaves us with 18 commits in this class.....Trey Robinson transfering will open up scholarship too....thus, probally room for no more than 4 or 5 at max to fill out the class....should be fun to see how this class finishes up....

In other recruiting news:

Todd Peat, beleive or it not, is down to two teams....Nebraska and Arizona State......Stanford has been eliminated....we get an in-home visit with him soon so have a better than 50-50 chance to land him in my opinion....he is an Arizona kid though so we have to overcome that....but we did with Prince and look where he is headed and hoepfully the coaches brign that up many times...hsi dad is former NFL player so he understands all of that....

I know it's a highlight video, but some of those Malcolm Creer plays were wild. His first run was insane, and I loved the stiff arm on the second play! Nobody would ever confuse me with Beck in evaluating running backs, but Creers highlights were pretty darn good!

120 carries for 1270 yards rushing (over 10 yards a carry).....scored 19 TDs......

Could be the groundwork was laid for these kids to come visit before Heard passed his test. This Creer kid runs hard and angry not a bad combination to have at his height and weight.

Maybe, but there is no confirmation that Heard achieved the score he needed. The silence regarding Heard is kind of deafening right now.
