Thoughts on the portal class so far?

Can you tell me how many Top 100 portal players were signed by Indiana Last year.

Not gonna lie, Cville. I cannot tell you how many of anything anywhere....lol... I'm not much of a ratings guy either, but I came across that article and figured folks here might could be interested in it. Cignetti has a plan and a method. Good for him and Indiana. Rhule "seems" to have a plan and a method and so far the jury is still out if you ask me. We have no choice but to trust it now.

The plan was to have a different O coming in, I think thats settled now.
The D was settled under TW and he left, JB failed on the entire run D aspect and we now have imo, a solution to our D woes.
It's so hard to pin how good we are with the changes.
I think we will be more dynamic and more sound in ways than less sound, such as going from DR and his great passing, losing that, yet gaining decent qb run and the stresses that that can put on opposing D's.
Hard to figure at this point imo
I said 7-5 for the year. Very doable

I agree. And as far as the D, Aurich's system has been highly effective in year 1, and by our SDSU portal adds it sounds like you can play fast. I think Rhule is seeing in the NIL era and moving pieces in roster management, easy to understand defenses that you can play guys younger or get transfers up to speed fast and playing fast without overthinking too much.

The guys nearest the ball dont have eyes in the backs of their heads. Either communications were bad, or system breakdowns happened. The D backfield sees everything in front of them post snap, they adapted, but can be taken out of the play through blocking or alignment in the run game. I saw no solution to this under JB, already missing big bodied guys eating up two blocks.
JB can call that out, and did, which is not good for team morale, and it ticked MR off. JB should have had a working solution, and if he did, I didnt see things getting better.
We are much more suited this year under any DC as having the body types every team wants. Thats why I'm thinking our D will be fine, it's more the running qb game and that transition that keeps me guessing.
One thing about 7-5 this year, it's better than if we'd gone 8-4 last year imo

I didn't start getting critical until the end of the season. I didn't think he deserved an extension, and just a lot of things that made me start to question him. However, if you look at my past history I've always voiced my support of him.
Always until lately……isn’t always. How do you feel about the QB room now?
