I caught the tail end of a discussion on the radio this morning, and they were talking about a recent Antiques Roadshow find. It probably was this item. They made a good point that moments like this are increasingly rare on the show because of the Internet. Everyone can research the value of their items on-line, so big surprises like this have unfortunately become much less likely.
